Twins Onyx boox Nefertiti and Onyx boox Cleopatra, released to the public in early 2014 by Onyx differ from each other only by the presence of the touch screen model Cleopatra.

In addition to the high-resolution screen, both models have a module Wi-Fi, comfortable turning keys located on both sides of the screen, a preset program Cool Reader for formats TXT, FB2, EPUB, MOBI, and the operating system Android.

Due to using of operating system Android, these devices can be considered  tablet but not an electronic book. Into them can be installed additional programmes for viewing files of text documents and other apps from Google Play Market.

Kobo Aura HD is a model of Canadian corporation Kobo inc., which was recently acquired by Japanese company Rakuten. Electronic books of brand Kobo are the four most popular devices for reading in America.

A distinctive feature of the design of this series of readers - a complete lack of control buttons on the front panel of the device. All actions to book (except turning on power-up) are produced with the help of the touch screen.

The device supports a rather limited list of text formats and doesn't support the structure of the folders on the memory card, which can be corrected by installing alternative firmware (Kobo resources are located in the "Links" section).

Egert is a brash, confident member of the elite guards and an egotistical philanderer. But after he kills an innocent student in a duel, a mysterious man known as "The Wanderer" challenges Egert and slashes his face with his sword, leaving Egert with a scar that comes to symbolize his cowardice. Robert Galbraith "The Cuckoo's Calling". When a troubled model falls to her death from a snow-covered Mayfair balcony, it is assumed that she has committed suicide. However, her brother has his doubts, and calls in private investigator Cormoran Strike to look into the case. Strike is a war veteran - wounded both physically and psychologically - and his life is in disarray. The case gives him a financial lifeline, but it comes at a personal cost: the more he delves into the young model's complex world, the darker things get - and the closer he gets to terrible danger ...

Michael Connelly "The Lincoln Lawyer". Mickey Haller has spent all his professional life afraid that he wouldn't recognize innocence if it stood right in front of him. But what he should have been on the watch for was evil. Haller is a Lincoln Lawyer, a criminal defense attorney who operates out of the back seat of his Lincoln Town Car, traveling between the far-flung courthouses of Los Angeles to defend clients of every kind. Bikers, con artists, drunk drivers, drug dealers - they're all on Mickey Haller's client list. For him, the law is rarely about guilt or innocence - it's about negotiation and manipulation. Sometimes it's even about justice. A Beverly Hills playboy arrested for attacking a woman he picked up in a bar chooses Haller to defend him, and Mickey has his first high-paying client in years. It is a defense attorney's dream, what they call a franchise case. And as the evidence stacks up, Haller comes to believe this may be the easiest case of his career...
